The data used in the research were obtained from https://www.fifa.com and https://tr.whoscored.com. Matches whose 90 minutes did not end in a draw were included in the study. In addition, as a result of the analyzes, it is aimed to evaluate and interpret which parameters are at the forefront in terms of technical-tactical and running performances of the particularly successful continents, and to determine the differences between the football schools of the continents and to focus on some criteria such as training and team setup by the coaches. The universe and sample of this study consists of a total of 50 matches played according to the single elimination method in the group stage and after the groups. As a result of the study, from a technical-tactical point of view; The European and South American continents’ goal, pass and shot values are both proportionally and statistically better than other confederation teams, Asian and African footballers’ success in both high-intensity runs and sprint numbers is not reflected in the team’s success, and the European teams’ total runs in the competitions. It can be said that a high distance is not a success criterion on its own.</p>}, number={3}, journal={Journal of ROL Sport Sciences}, author={Bılgın, Süleyman and Müniroglu, Recep Sürhat}, year={2022}, month={Sep.}, pages={78–92} }
