Mountaineers have been affected by this process as well all parts of society. The purpose of this study is to examine the experiences of high-altitude mountaineers during the covid-19 process. The research group consists of seven high-altitude mountaineers. Phenomenological research method, one of the qualitative research designs, was used in the study and the data was obtained by conducting semi-structured interviews with seven high-altitude mountaineers. The content analysis method was used in the analysis of the data. Research findings have been collected under two themes, “Mountaineers' Strategies to Cope with the Pandemic” and “There Is Everest in the World Right Now”. The results of the research show that mountaineering has physically, psychologically and mentally positive effect on adapting to the pandemic process, complying with the taken rules and managing the process.</p> ER -
