INVESTIGATION OF THE VIEWS OF YOUTH SERVICES AND SPORTS PROVINCIAL DIRECTORATE EMPLOYEES ON INCLUSIVE EDUCATION (ELÂZIG PROVINCE SAMPLE)

Abstract

This study focuses on the determination of the opinions of the employees of the Provincial Directorate of Youth Services and Sports of Elazig Province on the inclusive education and on the development of the solution proposals. The views of the participants on the inclusive education were compared in terms of gender, graduate program, level of education, job position, year of service, branch and family. “Personal Information Form” developed by the researches and “Inclusive Education Scale” developed by Aksüt et al. (2005) were used in the study. The universe of the study consists of 75 (19 female-56 male) people working in the province of Elazig. SPSS 20.0 package program was used to calculate the data. Frequency and percentage distributions were given in data analysis. Shapiro-Wilk test was used to determine whether the variables were compatible with normal distribution and it was found that all variables were not compatible with normal distribution. Comparisons of the variables which are found not to conform to normal distribution in terms of integration scale; Mann-Whitney U test was used for variables with 2 categories and Kruskall Wallis test was used for variables with more than 2 categories. While there is a significant difference in the findings obtained in terms of the job position variable, It was found that there was no significant difference in terms of variables, As a result, it can be said that the opinions of the sports center employees about inclusive education differ according to their job position.
