Today, there are many studies examining the effects of wellness programs on human health. However, studies on how wellness programs contribute to human resources management with a strategic management approach are limited, especially in the Turkish literature. The purpose of this research is to examine how strategic human resource management can respond to environmental changes using wellness programs. In this context, studies on the subject were reviewed and a compilation of evidence on the internal and external effectiveness of wellness programs was made. For the last 30 years, it has been seen that human resource management has used wellness programs to unite management and employees in a organizational culture that will support the implementation of the organization's strategy. When the studies are examined, it can be said that wellness programs have a significant potential to improve the effects of structural changes in organizations on employees. This potential is more beneficial when developed within the strategic framework. Because strategic human resource management links the interests of the employees with the interests of the organization.
